Compare services that actually matter to your business

Choosing between providers shouldn't feel like guesswork. We break down features, pricing, reliability, and user satisfaction across the service categories Irish businesses search for most — from broadband and energy to accounting software and managed IT.

Every comparison is built on verified data, structured scoring, and transparent methodology. No sponsored rankings, no hidden affiliate bias. Just clarity.

Which comparison path fits you?

Different businesses need different lenses. Pick the angle that matches your priority, then dive into the relevant comparison boards.

Cost-first analysis

You need the most competitive pricing relative to feature coverage. We normalise monthly and annual costs, factor in setup fees, and flag hidden charges so you can compare true cost of ownership across providers.

Reliability and uptime

Downtime is expensive. Our reliability scores draw from published SLA data, independent monitoring, and community-reported outage frequency. Ideal for mission-critical services like hosting, VoIP, and cloud storage.

Feature depth

When you need specific capabilities — API access, multi-user seats, GDPR compliance tools — our feature matrices let you filter and weight criteria that generic "best of" lists ignore entirely.

Support quality

Response times, channel availability, and resolution satisfaction vary wildly between providers. We track average first-response time, escalation paths, and weekend coverage so you know who actually picks up the phone.

Why most comparison sites get it wrong

The majority of comparison platforms rank providers by affiliate commission, not by genuine quality. That means the "top pick" is often whoever pays the most for placement. We take a different approach entirely.

Our editorial team scores each provider against a published rubric. Weightings are visible. Data sources are cited. If a provider refuses to share pricing or SLA details, that refusal is noted in the comparison — because opacity is itself a red flag.

We also re-evaluate every listed provider at least once per quarter. Markets shift, contracts change, support teams restructure. A comparison that was accurate six months ago may mislead you today. Freshness matters as much as accuracy.

How we build each comparison

1

Category scoping

We identify the providers active in the Irish market for each service category, filtering out resellers and white-label duplicates.

2

Data collection

Pricing, features, SLAs, and support channels are gathered directly from provider websites, press releases, and verified user reports.

3

Scoring and weighting

Each criterion receives a normalised score. Weightings are published alongside results so readers can adjust emphasis to their own priorities.

4

Publication and refresh

Completed matrices go live with full methodology notes. Every board is revisited within 90 days or sooner if a provider changes terms.

Serving businesses across Ireland from Cork

Whether you operate from a single premises or manage distributed teams nationwide, our comparison boards are built with Irish market conditions, Irish pricing, and Irish regulatory requirements front and centre. We understand that a provider's UK pricing page rarely reflects what you actually pay here.

Questions people ask before they compare

How do you keep comparisons unbiased?

We do not accept payment for ranking position. Revenue comes from flat-rate listing fees and consultation services, neither of which influences scores. Our methodology document is published alongside every comparison board, and weightings can be inspected by anyone.

Can I request a comparison for a category not yet covered?

Absolutely. Use the inquiry form below to suggest a category. If there is sufficient demand and at least three viable providers in the Irish market, we will scope and publish a new board within 30 days.

How often is pricing data refreshed?

Every active comparison board is reviewed at minimum once per quarter. High-volatility categories like energy and broadband are checked monthly. If a provider notifies us of a price change, we update within 48 hours.

Do you compare services outside Ireland?

Our primary focus is the Irish market, including providers headquartered elsewhere but offering localised plans and support within Ireland. We do not currently publish comparison boards for markets outside the Republic of Ireland.

Is there a cost to use the comparison boards?

All published comparison matrices are free to access. Custom comparison reports — where we research providers specific to your business requirements — are available as a paid consultation service. Pricing depends on scope and is quoted after an initial conversation.
